MaMate gourd + bombilla
What do you need to drink mate tea? A suitable drinking cup (calabash) and a drinking straw (bombilla). We have two sets for you to choose from.
The modern gourd is made of stainless steel and is constructed like a thermos flask. The mate tea stays warm and your hands cold.
The traditional calabash is made from pumpkin and is therefore a natural product (read the instructions for use before buying). The bombilla is an absolute gem due to its decoration.

Mate tea is a tea made from the leaves of the Ilex Paraguariensis (Yerba Mate), a shrub that originally grows in southern regions of South America. Mate combines the effects of tea (teophylin), chocolate (theobromine) and coffee (caffeine). A cup contains about the same amount of caffeine as coffee. However, the effect begins more gently and lasts longer. You are more concentrated and your well-being is increased.
Mate contains many important vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Mate also stimulates digestion and fat burning. Mate also prevents diseases due to its anti-inflammatory effect.
